Delete Your Roots & Rhythm Account

You can request permanent deletion of your Roots & Rhythm account and associated account data at any time. If you can access the app, the fastest option is to open Profile, choose Manage account, and use the delete account option.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email hello@rootsandrhythm.app with the subject line “Roots & Rhythm account deletion request.”

Please send the request from the email address used for your Roots & Rhythm account. If you signed in with Google, use the same Google account email. This helps us verify ownership before deleting account data.

What we delete

When your account is deleted, we delete account-linked data such as:

• your Roots & Rhythm account record
• account-linked saved recipes
• account-linked food preferences or seasonal settings, where stored

The in-app deletion flow also clears locally stored app data from that device. If you request deletion by email, you can remove local-only data by signing out, clearing app storage, or uninstalling the app.

What may be retained

We may retain limited information when required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, abuse-prevention, tax, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes. We may also keep aggregated or de-identified analytics that no longer identify you.

Beta waitlist emails and support messages may be stored separately from your app account. Tell us in your deletion request if you also want those removed.

Timing

We will confirm your request and complete eligible deletion as soon as reasonably possible. Most requests are handled within 30 days after we can verify the account owner.
